SFIMAR ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (SAA)
SAA Registration Details
St. Francis Institute of management & Research has duly formed and registered alumni association. It was registered in 2008 and named as “SFIMAR ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (SAA)”.
Objectives:
SAA has defined objectives leading to the holistic development of the students and its alumni members.
a. To keep a roster of all Alumni of college and their relevant data.
b. Maintaining the updated and current information of all Alumni.
c. To encourage, foster and promote close relations among the alumni themselves, by arranging events for alumni members and involving them in the holistic development of the institute.
d. To promote a sustained sense of belonging to the Alma Mater among the Alumni, by being in regular contact with them.
e. To provide and disseminate information regarding their Alma Mater, its graduates, faculty and students to the Alumni through social media and electronic media.
f. To guide and motivate Alumni by recognizing their outstanding achievement in a professional discipline or in Business and honour their accomplishments by awarding them.
g. To provide a forum for the Alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of the day.
h. The Alumni Association achieves these objectives by regular meetings, arranging events and reunions; Alumni Chapters, Alumni Connect programs with the current batch students & by making them a part of various Advisory meetings.

SFIMAR is proud to have alumni batch representatives as co-opted members of SAA from its 1st batch of all the programs till the latest passed out batch i.e. year 2020. These co- opted members are also invited to attend the SAA meetings. This helps SFIMAR to maintain interaction with each batch.

SAA Meeting
Alumni members actively participate during alumni association managing committee meetings hosted at SFIMAR. The institute organises two Managing Committee meetings and one Annual General Meeting (AGM) in each academic year. The meetings are attended by the Managing Committee members & Co-opted members. Important matters pertaining to infrastructure development, students’ progress, alumni members’ growth and development and alumni support towards the holistic development of current students are discussed and decisions are taken.
