Finatics Forum

Finatics forum is a forum of students opting for Finance specialization in MMS or PGDM programs at SFIMAR. It is a forum which tries to connect industry professionals in addition to the various real-life situations with the faculty and student fraternity of SFIMAR. Finatics forum organised ‘Trade GuruMock Stock’ (Intercollegiate competition in Exuberance) 

Objectives:

  • Exuberance is a platform to pool together creative, energetic, and intellectual talent across the Mumbai region.
  • Demonstrate and apply various financial concepts in real life situations.
  • Interact with professionals from the industry in various financial domains such as capital markets, banking, etc.
  • Develop various skillsets required for the jobs in the financial domain through training, attending seminar/conference, field visits, etc.

Outcomes:

  • Application of various real life financial concepts by students.

Nirmiti Forum

Introduction:

Nirmiti, the marketing forum of SFIMAR-PGDM, plays a vital role in shaping students into industry-ready marketing professionals. The forum conducts a wide range of activities throughout the academic year, fostering experiential learning and practical exposure. Led by students specializing in Marketing, Nirmiti is dedicated to organizing both inter-college and intra-college events that promote marketing excellence. These activities simulate real-world marketing environments, thereby enhancing students’ skills, encouraging innovative thinking, and nurturing their overall professional development..

Objectives:

  • To provide students with hands-on exposure to marketing-specific entrepreneurial activities through the setup of innovative business stalls.
  • To encourage innovation as a core element of entrepreneurship, motivating students to ideate, design, and present unique business concepts in a competitive environment.
  • To promote creative thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling students to approach marketing challenges with originality and strategic insight.
  • To cultivate an environment that supports the development of effective business plans and innovative marketing solutions among budding professionals.
