The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India.

The ranking parameters are:

• Teaching, Learning, and Resources (30%)
• Research and Professional Practices (30%)
• Graduation Outcomes (20%)
• Outreach and Inclusivity (10%)
• Perception (10%)
